Is there a stable custom rom and cw (or other) recovery for this phone out there.
I rooted it following the root post and was sucessful, cant install anything from stock boot menue.

No. The bootloader is locked.Is there a stable custom rom and cw (or other) recovery for this phone out there.
I rooted it following the root post and was sucessful, cant install anything from stock boot menue.

So there's no way to mod this phone besides rooting? Will the wire trick that is used with HTC devices work on this phone? I'd really like to play with some custom firmware... even be willing to test as I no longer have T-mobile and we don't actually use this phone.

According to Huawei the MyTouch phones aren't locked. I asked them the other week.
