Actually its a benzodiazapene < I prob spelled that wrong. But all benzos are usually given for Anxiety, panic attacks, mood swings, mania etc in some cases it treats psychosis but rarely. This medicine is addictive an you can die from withdraw. Other medications similar are: xanax ,adavan . I've been on klonopin for 23 years for anxiety :) I figured I would just through all this out there.

LMAO, it's benzodiazepine. And we were both only half right. I misunderstood what Gary was taking because I thought he misspelled Clonazepam (which IS a benzodiazepine, you are correct). However, I was wrong, I misread him, because he's taking Clozapine. Which is an atypical anti-phychotic in the Tricyclic family, similar to Quetiapine (Seroquel).

And yes, I'm a nerd. I always wanted to be a pharmacist.

Hey everyone! Yes I am back, finally!

Before everyone trips out and wonders, "oh god here we go." Let me explain please.

As most of you know, I had some, shall we say "anger issues." Well to be honest, I thought everyone else was the problem, not me. Well that's what I thought was the case until about 3 weeks ago when I started taking my anger out on my coworkers and my family. This is when I realized it needed to stop and it needed to stop now. Taking my anger out on people on some website is one thing, but when it starts affecting my family, that's something completely different.

Long story short, I went to see "Behavioral Health" here where I'm stationed at. After about 2 weeks they came to the conclusion that I was in fact suffering from a form of PTSD. Not sure how many of you know about military stuff, but every time you get "blown up" it gets added to this thing called a "blast tracker." Well apparently my blast tracker had that I had been blown up 12 times in 2 deployments. This also contributed to my PTSD.

Well there's good news, I have been prescribed "Clozapine" and it has been working wonders! I'm not going to get into the specifics of anything because frankly I really don't like talking about it because it brings up bad stuff.

After starting this medication, it's seriously like I'm a whole new person. I'm not losing my cool anymore and everyone has said I seem like a nicer person lol.

Anyway, I have been talking to the staff members around here and have gotten the approval to come back to droidrzr!

So in closing, if I have said or done anything to any of you that was out of line, rude, or just plain inappropriate, I sincerely apologize to you. I should have never taken my anger out on any of you. You didn't deserve it and I am truthfully sorry. I really hope that there are no hard feelings and that you accept my apology.

Now let's get down to business and get ready to flash some ROMs and stuff!!!!

I wasnt in the Forum earlier, so came after.....but glad to see that your back. And even more glad you are able to get a hold of the problem to work on it. I give you much credit for stepping up to your issue and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

Welcome Back,

As a Veteran of a foreign war (the first Gulf War), I was in Kuwait the day Saddam invaded, I can totally understand PTSD. I have had 5 shoulder surgeries, 4 in the last 2 years, because of that war, and have had the same anger issues, where it wasn't me, it was everyone else...I hope and pray that you were able to realize before any long term damage happened to you or your family. People who have never been in the military, or worse, war sometimes don't understand what we go through. So good luck to you and welcome back.

Pretty cutting edge stuff, we've used it with some kids who suffer from ptsd(sad stuff) and it works wonders. Hope it benefits you as well.

Wow, are you sure you heard him right? Maybe he just had a heavy Italian accent and was telling you to use a clothes pin :D

Seriously, first, good to have you back. I like your work. More importantly, screw the ROMs, it's good to get your life back on track. Finally, keep an eye on yourself. Reading that Wikipedia page, it sounds like there can be some major side effects from that drug. I just had part of a lung removed due to cancer, so I know what it's like to take some pretty dangerous drugs. Just keep a close eye on things and talk to your doctor if you see anything.

Again, good to see you feeling better.

Welcome back BDH :) It's perfectly understandable that your iPhone gave you PTSD. They make me extremely angry every time I have to fix them.

Welcome back Hicks. As a military veteran, I too suffered from PTSD from my tours in Desert Storm, Somalia and Bosnia and I too took a long time to come to grips with what I had. Honestly, I suffered PTSD when I was 15 when I saw my mom tragically die in front of me. It was a "symptom" I hid from and at first was embarrassed to know I suffered from this. Lately I've come to realize this is not something to be embarrassed from, but to embrace it and continue seeing my therapist and try to help those that are going through the same thing. Working at Boeing South Carolina, I work with teammates that are veterans and I have a very good friend that is going through the exact same thing and I make sure I'm available for him anytime he needs to blow off steam, goes through sudden bouts of depression, etc.

Long story short, if you need anything, I'm an IM away and glad you're back, my brother in uniform. Keep up the good work and your progress
