In my 'working' Razr, there's a file 'ss', which is empty, and on my mess-around Razr (loaded with JB leak and a couple JB kernel ROMs), but is an apparent copy of the internal SD card. I'd love to reclaim some space, if I could. I've nowhere to save a copy on the phone, the external SD card is only 16GB. Is it ok to delete 'ss' content?

Soooooo, should there be any content to the file? As in, should it have no size when anylized in 'properties'?

well if its a shortcut I don't think so. Because its treated as a empty folder that when pressed moves you to a different destination like in this case, the internal SD card. And since its just like an empty folder I think its to small in size to really be kbs at least maybe its bytes

Well, on the spare Razr, the properties of the actual ss file, alone, are the same as internal SD card. I'll hook it up to the puter to do a little dabbling.

My final take; it seems that on BOTH Razrs (working, modified-to-Maxx and play-with Razr), 'ss' in the root directory is vestigial for the stock slot, but used/recognized/masquerades as the internal SD card for the ROM slots. Harmelss, and not using any extra memory, nor duplicate files.
