I've installed GO SMS Pro and so I assume I don't need the native Text Messaging app. How can I freeze it or kill it? I've frozen the app and everything that seems related and it keeps showing up.

Ditto with Webtop. This is something I will never use, yet it runs in the background despite my attempts to make it go away.

I'm close to just flashing a debloated, deodexed stock ROM, but I do use the stock email app and would have to put it back in. Frustration.

Any clues about removing Text Messaging and Webtop?

Use a file manager with root permission and rename the apk.
Go to \system\app\Conversations.apk
Rename it to Conversations.bak and reboot.
It should be gone then, but you can always change it back to .apk if you want it back.
However, I have noticed that without the stock app, sometimes other apps don't work correctly.

Dont remove the stock text app, you need it to send/receive MMS.

To freeze apps use "Bloat Freezer" it can freeze webtop. Will give you repeated fc's, but just reboot and its fine.

I searched for "Bloat Freezer" in the Market but didn't find it.
