Everywhere I look the only way to get rooted is to have ICS and then root the phone. I've found guides to get root back when it was lost by upgrading to jelly bean, but no working guides to root my Razr HD when it has never had root before and already has JB. Please, does anyone have any recommendations on how I can root my Motorola Razr HD XT925 with Android 4.1.2?
Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.

Unlock the bootloader.
Flash CWM or TWRP.
Flash any Root.zip (Superuser, SuperSU, etc.)
