Which one do you recommend to a noob. Lots of reference to both when talking about backups and flashing ROMs, but I'd like to know which one you think is the best for .173 OTA, root.

in my opinion safe strap is better because you can always switch back to being on the nonsafe side if you screw something up.

Thanks to all you guys...some good info you all have provided. I guess it's a matter of preference. I'm pretty new at this and haven't tried any of the several available ROMs yet. SafeStrap sounds to be the safest for a noob, but I'm going to continue to reseach before doing anything. Thanks again Technoviking, DroidRazrAZ and HOGRIDER.

Safestrap. If for no other reason that if you really screw up somewhere it'll usually still have hijacked your bootloader. Bootstrap will usually break if your ROM breaks. Just my 2 cents.

But if you just picked up a lapdock 500 from vzw for $150 today... I'll take SS so I can use my webtop on the stock rom
