I'm extremely new to android, sorry if this is a retarded problem.

Everytime I reset my phone (XT 910) a black screen appears with the following

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Flash Failure)
0A.74
eMMC Info: Size 16G
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0

Battery Ok
Ok to program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected

I nearly shat myself when this first happened, but if i hold down both volume keys when powering up, I get acces to a menu, and if i let it there for 15 seconds without selecting anything it just starts normally.

What I'd like to do now is fix this, and then somehow install a brazilian version of ICS, since I bought this in Marseille on a trip and my Brazilian carrier said that's the reason why I'm not recieving SMS.

Here's a few more details if anyone wants to help me:

System Version 672.180.41.Xt910.Retail.en.FR
Android Version: 4.0.4

Sorry If I'm not clear, I want to flash a Brazilian ROM (LATAM) into this French phone (EMEA), but when i try using RSDLite it fails on step 6/18.
