Hi everybody. Sorry for my poor English. So, now I have just another brick. It was a stupid idea, I know, but I tryed to flash Aussie firmware (4.1.2 from

) to my Retail Verizon Droid Razr M. Actually it's not work. Now I can download into fastboot mode, but I can't flash VZW 4.1.1 or 4.0.4 back. On the first step in RSD I have error "Failed flashing process: flash partition "gpt_mail0.bin" ->Phone returned FAIL" On the screen I can see: "downgraded security version update gpt_main version failed". Every partition flash successfully (singly) exсept "boot" , "system" and "gpt_mail0.bin".

What I can do to unbrick my phone? And can I do somethink? Try to google it, but can't find somethink better then buy broken device and change motherboard. But this is my last resort. I hope that possibily awake my phone.
If anyone have idea, I glad to hear. Thanks.

...not that I'm an expert (noted by my post count as well...heh) but.. I gotta idea...
which version of rsd are you using? it could be a faulty copy... (*shrugs)
if rsd isnt your issue.. try flashing a different copy of the stock rom

another idea... as it seems you can access other partitions (safestrap?)
try dl'ing a copy of the stock rom, and installing it on a partition (ie: rom-slot 1)
and from there, make a back up, then restore that back up to the 'stock' partition

after that... *shrugs I wouldnt know where to begin.

Thanks for answer. RSD 6.1.5. Safestrap not work anymore.I think the reason is signed partitions in Australian firmwares. Now after flashing this I can't install any unsigned firmware (Like VZW). The only choise is unlock bootloader or signed VZW firmware. This 2 things is unreal in this time.

A couple of weeks ago, I came close to bricking my phone. I tried to run Fastboot but it kept failing. Turns out that I needed to use RSD 6.1.4. The fact that you are using 6.1.5 might be part of the problem. Also, like Dead Man said, try a different Fastboot file.

I used RSD 6.1.4 before update to 6.1.5. It works well before and now. I tryed any fastboot files, but can't flash it yet. There is no problem with programm and fastboot files. Like I said before, problem actually that I flash Australian firmware on VZW Razr M, it's not success, and now I can't roll back. When I boot into fastboot mode I have "downgraded security version" and I can't flash unsigned partitions in firmwares.

I'm also a novice, but when I was bricked and couldn't get RSD to work, I tried Matt's utility and it worked on the first try.
