Video show's off that it is scratch resistant. Wonder what else it can protect from?

if you take the back cover off, its pretty flimsy and bendable. I don't image this does much but add style to out preciousssss

I'm waiting for a video of someone shooting through the back of a Razr just for laughs.

Agreed. The durability of the screen is a LOT more important to me than how scratch resistant the frame is.

I would have to say that this kevlar is definitely for cosmetic reasons. In its raw form, it most likely came in large prepreg sheets/rolls with resin that cured at a lower temperature. Weight savings compared to a plastic rear are minimal and where the kevlar is on the device, it is neither being used for protection or support...

To be completely honest, it doesnt even look like real fabric was used. It looks like a really bad print job. I havent taken my back off so i do not know what the inside of the panel looks like...

The video should be titled, OG Droid destroys blender. That`s back when they made durable phones. (Still have two :))

Ummmm it's not supposed to be scratch proof. I'm in the military and can tell you first hand that Kevlar will obviously scratch. You're not breaking it though.
