I am considering buying an external battery for my razr maxx, but im stuck between a dual usb 9900 mAH pack, or an 11000 mAH single usb pack. What do you guys think is the better buy? The 9900 pack is on sale for $65 and the 11000 pack is on sale for $75.

Do you really think you need an extended battery? And I'd go with "Bigger is better". Get the 11000 mAh
If you'd like to buy me a Mountain Dew just PM me for my PayPal info. Thanks :)

I have the New Trent 11000 external battery/charger and it has been fantastic for me. Have used it to charge not only my RAZR but my Ipad and Iphone as well. Very happy with it. (especially when you hear the horror stories people have had with the ZaggSparq I and II)

The New Trent definitely charges with a standard 110 wall outlet. The initial charge takes about 6 hrs and then it appears to charge pretty quick (although I usually charge it overnight so I've never paid much attention).

I initially was looking at the ZaggSparq made by Zagg. I did a little google research and saw all kinds of reviews and complaints of users having to take it apart to get it to work, having them short out, and having to send them back to the manufacturer several times. The New Trent battery is not that big, appears to be well made, and seems to work as advertised (I've had mine since december). I ordered mine through Amazon also, and was pretty happy with the whole process.

The 9900 is better if you have a tab and phone. B/c one slot is assigned for 1A and the other for 2A for your tabs. Never charge a phone device w/ a 2A USB slot. The 11000 has both slots putting out 1A. You can charge your tab w/ a 1A slot on the 11000 but it will charge a lot slower than if you have the 9900 w/ the 2A slot.

I bought the ANKER 5600mAh off of Amazon for under $50 and it will charge my RAZR 3 times. And it fits in my pocket.
