So I tried to install 4.1.2 through recovery mode, but it will not work. I have tried to tempt unroot using voodoo, still not working. All apps are defrosted, I even did a factory reset. Should I unroot?

Your best bet is to grab the 1.82 utility and fastboot back to stock ICS. Root. Save root. Install JB soak.

I am running 211 also, got the 98.72.16 OTA update today. When I tried to install my little green droid guy fell on his back with a red triangle with an
exclamation point in the middle. No error message listed, I aborted the install. I forget this stuff as fast as I learn it cuz I am old. I unrooted with voodo, is there something else I was supposed to do prior to the update that I missed?

Do you have safestrap installed?? Your best bet is to use Matt's 1.82 Utility to fastboot back to fresh stock .211

Yup that may be your problem. Uninstall the safestrap recovery from within the safestrap app then uninstall the app

Okay, when I go back to stock 211, I would then root and save root with voodo? Then run the update with or without safeatrap?

Okay. I have uninstalled the safestrap recovery and the safestrap app. Backed up root with voodo and now unfortunately I have to re-download the update. Then I should install?

Well I guess I'm all set. Once this downloads I will install, reinstall root and I should be all set. I thank you for your help. Is there anything else I should know before I proceed?
