This is a simple tool for all Operating Systems that allows you to switch between the Jellybean leak and Jellybean official kernels. If you want to run, for example: BatakangROM JB you need to be on the Jellybean leak kernel. You can do this on the Official Jellybean update by
1. Being rooted and having Safestrap already installed.
2. Running the Utility.
3. When it reboots go into Safestrap and follow ROM install instructions.
4. ????
5. Profit.

- Windows Instructions

  • Extract .zip to its own folder on the Desktop.
  • Install the required drivers. The folder with the drivers is called "Drivers [WINDOWS ONLY]" and is included in the folder.
  • Double click the ".bat" file. This will be called "WindowsUtility.bat" the image is just for reference.

- Mac & Linux Instructions

  • Extract the .zip to any folder you like, the /Downloads/ or /Desktop/ folder should work just fine.
  • Open a Terminal window. (On Mac: Applications > Utilities > Terminal)
  • Learn your 'sudo' password. This is almost always your Admin password on a Mac computer. On Linux you should already know what this is, its yours account password if your account is an admin as well.
  • Type the following code into the Terminal Windows, places where it says ***DRAG HERE*** are telling you to simply drag the folder there. For example: cd ***DRAG FOLDER HERE*** then press 'Enter' after each line.

  • You will be asked for your sudo password at least once in the Utility process, so make sure you followed the instructions to learn it.

Not to rain on the parade here as I GREATLY appreciate Matt and his tools....for those that dont fully understand this tool puts the kernel back to the xmas eve leak jb kernel (98.72.8). the latest from the "official"/soak test is 98.72.16

Once the roms get fixed you can switch back.

And THANK YOU Matt for the tool. :)

I think those that "know", do understand what this is. but theres many thinking this is it. as in the latest greatest JB.

I certainly meant only to clarify for the masses, if it wasnt clear.

Matt, I need some help with my accounts. I had to create a second one because I couldn't get my first one to work. I know now that I should have looked in my spam folder for the email helping me change my password. I want to delete my old account which was JF7609. I want to use this sn, JFolck1886, with the email associated with my old sn, JF7609. I'm sorry to use just a post to try and get your attention, but I searched everywhere to trying to find a way to message your or chat with you.

Can anyone help me out here? with my issue above

You were supposed to install Safe strap first. It has 3 warnings ....

Use 1.90 if you are bricked.
