Got the change-over to Google Play Store tonight. What a lame name! And my apps/library page is STILL blank, unfixed. No surprise. Anyone else have a similar problem? Or have a solution? Play Store....:-$ pbbbtbtbt

All good here. Maybe reboot and see if that fixes it?

It just happened to me. I declined the terms and conditions to Google Play and now my "Market" app won't even launch.
Tried rebooting too.

Check in your app drawer and see if by chance there's an app for Google Play in there. When it upgraded for me my old Marketplce app wouldn't work anymore and there was a new one for Google play in my app drawer.

I've got Play and Market both... Play is only listed as being for media, nothing in it hints towards it handling apps.

Odd. It took over for Marketplace completely on my phone.

Mine as well. The icon I had on my main screen for the market was still there but I just deleted it and replaced it with the new icon. Everything is working fine.

I've still got both in the app drawer to clarify, not just left over like that.

The more I think about it, the more sense it makes that the problem is on their servers. Play Store looks just like Android Market. Google gets t splash their make around, and lost a little smart phone identity. Brilliant. May as well give the software numerical names instead of alphabetical deserts.

Okay I went online to my android market account and installed app brain to my phone. When I used appbrain to access the market I then received the Play store update nd all is well again. I hope this helps.

I hate assuming, but I would assume that this update to the market would go across all devices.

HERE IS THE FIX! Worked perfectly on my MAXX, but make sure NOT to re-link anything that is from the Amazon App Store, or the system bloatware types of things. Also, you can use Titanium Backup instead of Rom Toolbox if you want, but don't use the auto update feature in the market doctor.

Unfortunately, the little market icon link in the upper right corner of our app drawer is broken.... Evidently a Moto thing, since Blur has that linked to the old market app.
