Correct there is no more going back anymore. This has been verified. I did lose root once for a strange reason but OTA rootkeeper got it back and all is fine.

I have a quick question. I disabled apps through the App Manager built into Android 4.0+. They are showing up as frozen in TiBu, however I did not freeze them there. Do I need to enable these apps again? I'm thinking that since it was done through the Android system I shouldn't have to. I probably will enable them anyway, just to be safe.

FYI, there is a download link here:

I can also confirm that VooDoo worked to keep root.

So the safest thing would be to wait on a ROM or pre-rooted version of this update and apply it to a ROM Slot, right?

I just updated to 4.1.2 and kept root with Voodoo OTA RootKeeper and everything seems to be working great so far. Safestrap seems to be working fine for me, I just made a backup but have not tested anything else.

I can confirm a few things with this update

1.) I was able to regain root with voodoo.
2.) This update fixed the Razr HD notification LED bug for me. (my notification LED was constantly blinking green before this)
3.) Fixed PIN unlock lag i was having (would type pin and it would show up a few seconds later sometimes) - yes i tried an FDR, did not resolve.
4.) Appears (more time will tell) to have fixed some issues i was having with "Talk" call quality. My first call was always full of echo and delay.

these could be coincidence but an FDR did not resolve these issues, 4.1.2 did.

'm rooted with disabled apps (not frozen via titanium backup), I have safe strap installed and I installed the 4.2 camera and keyboard. I'm not running any custom ROMs. Running stock. Is this a no go for me? I disabled the stock keyboard and camera after I installed the 4.2 versions. Of I wait for the OTA would it new best to uninstall safe strap?

So you can't even downgrade to ICS via RSDlite? If not, what happens when you try?

I downloaded the update and put on my sdcard. I'm using Koush's Superuser app(which has been working fine), but I went into voodoo ota rootkeeper and removed root. Now I'm not sure why I did that step because when I tried to restore it, it said I was not rooted. I have tried other root apps and some are working others are not, so it looks like I'm stuck in limbo. Not sure what to do at this moment so any suggestions are highly accepted.
