I was wondering if this was even possible or would be possible. Was looking at some of the githubs for most the developers and was curious if its a doable project. If so I'd love to try and take on this task as I have built and compiled CM7 for my old HTC Incredible. Thanks in advance.

Without an unlocked bootloader you would never be able to port over the most useful features.
