The Asian equivalent is only 2.3.6 I think... so I'd assume that's where you are with everyone else.

6.7.407 was the build number from the leaked Verizon ICS screenshots. No real relevance just figured I'd throw that in there.

No one cares where this was sent from

:-D :-D

And the verdict is?
If I were you and you were me, would I be you or me?

I have no idea.. Update failed.. Anyone can share with me what went wrong?

Phone is rooted, but I unrooted before update via voodoo ota root keeper.

There is several bloatware freezes via titanium backup but was defrosted before update. I never removed any bloatware..

Also I did a search on internet, this update brings my firmware to 2.3.6.

Thus us a frightening thought.. This 2.3.6 came out to Asian users months after it was released in Europe.. I hope this will not be the car with ice cream sandwich.

Finished downloading & installed 65.1.40.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03. Updates to Gingerbread 2.3.6
First of all after reboot you'll see a new unlock screen with just a circle with a key inside. The original left (unlock) and right (camera) sliders are gone. Definitely due to Apple's claims of copyright infringement on their iPhone unlock slider feature.
If you tap the circle with the key, it will show a small camera icon on the left & a small open padlock icon on the right with pulsating arrows pointing to each. You can either slide the middle icon (circle with key) to the left or right to unlock or use the camera or you may just press the camera or padloack icon to do the same. If you don't do anything it will show the circle with the key again and the words "Flick to unlock" above it. Also the sound on/off mode icon have been moved to the top right hand corner of the lockscreen.

Some of the lockscreen icons look different too like the "Text" & "Phone" "My Gallery" "Camcorder" & "My Music" icon.

More to come later....

More on the 65.1.40.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03 OTA update.
When you press the "menu" button the buttons that appear have been re positioned. Top row (left to right) Add, Wallpaper, Notifications. Bottom row (left to right) Settings, Manage Apps, Search.

If you press the "settings button it will now show colored icons next to the words instead of the bland black & white that we've been used to.

Is it just me or does the phone function better and another with this update? One thing I noticed, is fruit ninja do not freeze from time to time..

It was irritating because I kept disturbing my"would be" 5 or 6 combos..
