I've been thinking about trying to create a boot animation and was looking at the bootanimation.zip in the 3 roms I have downloaded so far.
In the desc.txt file for each the values read:
Infex - 720 1280 15
Eclipse - 540 960 24
Gummy Spyder - 480 800 30

Why the different values? I figured they should all be the same to fit the screen or am I misunderstanding how these values work?

If I look at the properties for the individual images they are 360x640. I thought those numbers should be in the desc.txt file.

I think the numbers in the script tell the phone how big you want the screen to be. Then it sizes the image to the screen thinking the screen is the size you tell it. At least that is the way it seems to work to me.

If i remember right it is the ''size'' like 24v said. X by X. And then the third number is the speed of the animation.
