Currently I have a Razr Maxx HD, rooted on 4.1.2, I have a backup of everything on it I need on it through titanium backup. My power button went out so I called verizon for a replacement under warranty, Now, I need root on my device, what is the chance the device I am going to receive had 4.1.2 vs 4.1.1? Its supposed to be a like new re certified I believe. Also what will I have to do to remove any traces of root I have left behind? I know unfreeze the stock apps but what else?

It's a crap shoot as to what version of device you will receive. Hope for 4.1.1

There is not current root method for 4.1.2

You can use the SBF file to restore your phone to stock

Mine came in with 4.1.1, soo were all good, had to send mine back in rooted though the battery died and with a dead power button I was SOL for getting it wiped. ECT.
