If any of you read my previous article you might have seen some classic April Fools jokes that were played on us this year. Well one of these jokes may not have actually been a joke. British company "Swiftkey" had announced a new typing experience called "Tilt" on 4-1-2013. It allows the user to type by tilting their device. Many people had thought that this was just one of the numerous pranks being played this year, but actually it was an "Easter Egg" built in with their last update on 3-26-2013. It has been said that Swiftkey has been planning this since early 2013.
If you have SwiftKey installed, simply type the word ’tilt’ at any input screen, long-press the prediction, and tap “SwiftKey Tilt.” To disable Tilt, just close the keyboard.
Update from Huffington Post: Update: April 1, 3:30 p.m. -- In an email to The Huffington Post, Joe Braidwood, chief marketing officer at SwiftKey, said that the company plans to sunset the Tilt feature in its next update, but that if there's enough demand to keep it, they might reconsider.

I'll be darned. It works. It would need a lot of work to be useful though. About the only thing you can do with it the way it is now is choose predicitons. Interesting though.

Cool Easter Egg, but I can't imagine this ever being practical...

It's like in grade school, we used to see how well we could type with our elbows.

Trying it out, it's kinda funny but slow as all hell. Took me almost five minutes to type this. Lol.

I tried it out. April fool or not, I cannot see how this could be even remotely useful *LOL* It's like trying to play "Labyrinth" and trying to type, all at the same time.

What is the real benefit of Swift Key over Swype? Is it the predictions? It seems to get more words wrong for me (could be my lousy keyboarding)
Voiding warranties is my specialty
