Nice to see a dedicated site. I do have one question though. I've had many android devices and clearing default home and going back to stock launcher has always been a breeze. Not with this phone. Gf had Go launcher installed, removed it and left her with a phone that had no home screen. (Search worked but only for web related things) recent apps, and others did nothing. I had to do a factory restore. Now myself, I run Launcher7 and I can open moto default home through an app such as home switcher, but its never there to save as defualt. Is this a bug? I fairly positive I'm not overlooking anything as I am quite familiar with the process.

Blur seems to work differently on the RAZR compared to lets say the Droid 1. If you want to have a downloaded launcher on your phone but would also like the choice of using the stock launcher as default, try downloading Moto home fix.

That worked! Seems as it replaces "Home" with another "default home" as they run aside one another in HomeSmack. Interesting, but still works. If i uninstall launcher7 I am assuming Blurr Home will be there for me still. I'd like to look deeper into it, but I appreciate the helping hand and your advice worked. Thanks so much.

Hey no problem, it took me a while to find this out myself when I first got the phone. You can uninstall launcher 7 and still have the stock blur launcher. The only thing is if you want the stock launcher previews (when you hit the home button, it shows all the screens), you would have to uninstall the moto home fix.

I'm a new owner of droid razr maxx(2 months) and i have a problem witch ether verizon or motorola can't fix.( btw, apologize for my english). Well , I'm Canadian, but i spend a lot of time in USA. On the time when i,m in Canada, the phone pop-up an window who ask me if i allow or deny data for this trip. The problem is as this window pop-up very often (some times 20-30 times per minute, other times 4,5 times per hour) and become to be very annoying. The choice on Data Manager - Global Data Access is set all the time on Deny Data Roaming Access. The technicians from verizon try to fix the problem during the first month without any result, then decide to replace the phone. The new one have same problem and they said is a motorola soft issue and give me the choice to replace the phone with other brand, but i refused. My question is, if i root the phone and i install other ROM, the window will still pop-up?. Or if is other solution to resolve this problem. Thank you

sorry to tell you my friend but as long as you are outside of verizons range.. you will be getting that. after that you cant get GSM signal.. unless you start data roaming myabe.. but that will be a bit expensive...

Thanks for answer. Using data outside US is not expensive, is very expensive (10$/mb). But why only with droid razr is happen this?. I have a friend with HTC ,same from verizon, and don't have this problem. So, u suggest as even with another ROM the problem will persist?

I use Home Switcher, works just fine when I want to switch between stock and GoLauncher.
Why can't you put your Speedtest image results in your signature????????????
