Ok, i have the xt926. I was on 4.1.2, rooted. I unlocked my bootloader, installed twrp 2.5, and made a backup of it. I installed cm 10.1 but the gps wouldn't work so I tried to restore the backup of my stock rom but it is no where to be found. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure you are looking in the right place? It has to be there unless you swapped your SD card??

Always make a note where you backed up your ROM. search every folder until you find it. If you can't then you will have to flash a moto based ROM and radio and kernel. No need to sbf

I think the default backup location is the internal memory. should be/sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS and so on.

I've torn this thing apart looking for it. I've gone into twrp backups and found a folder with the stock title but there is nothing in the folder.

I just checked my backup

Internal Storage > TWRP > Backups > backup folder

I'm more surprised that when you went to restore TWRP didn't just take you straight to the backup folder. It may have and you might have been confused because backups are stored with a date time stamp unless you change the backup name.

No i changed the name of it to stockhd412 but when i went to restore it out wasn't in there. The only way i could find it was to use root Explorer. I had to search for the file name and then manually move it to the back up folder. Weird i know
