Best Answer tmyinc , 09 April 2013 - 07:20 PM

Just the Energy Rom with a few modifications I made to it

Energy rom would not boot for me in TWRP or CWM. Seems to oonly work in safestrap. I got Flying Jelly to boot in both TWRP and CWM. Go to the full post

Just unlocked my bootloader and set up TWRP. However, I can't seem to flash any new ROMS without getting "Error flashing zip 'external_sd...etc...."

Any tips on how to fix this?

Have you tried mounting system before flashing the zip?

Not really. Was I supposed to wipe the system slot though? I wiped cache, davlik, did a factory reset, then wiped system.

ok i think what it is we need to go back to the old mounting way and not use the same as SS...

run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "/system");
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "-o", "rw,remount", "/system", "/system");
run_program("/sbin/busybox", "mount", "-o", "rw,remount", "/", "/");

let me know if it helped?

nah make sure everything is mounted when you wipe cache dalvik factory reset and system then remount everything and flash you should be good unless you flashed cm10 before you tried this because cm10 replaces your stock boot.img and you have to re flash a stock boot.img to flash blur roms again

That would explain it... Do I have to RSD to get back the original boot.img or is there another way?

Also, I think mhouse posted the files over in his "DST ROM" thread. There are zips that are flashable through recovery or fastboot. Personally, I would just use Matt's utility and start from scratch. I just did this and everything is cherry now.

That's what I ended up using.
