That will just reflash the bootlogo and clear up the fastboot flash failure. Go to the full post

I bought my wife a new razr hd a couple of days ago. When i got it i upgraded up to 4.1.1 and told her not to take any updates until i could revert back to 4.04 and root and then use voodoo root keeper to keep root all the way to 4.1.1. well aparently without her knowing some how she upgraded to 4.1.2 and i didnt know this. so i ran matts utility to restore back to 4.04 and of course it failed.

so now anytime the phone reboots it automatically goes right into ap fastboot mode and i have to hold both volume buttons and power to get boot menu to come up to start normally.

does anyone know how i can get this back to normal to where it boots normally. now the phone is on 4.1.2 rooted. verizon is the carrier if ya need to know that.

thanks for any help

You need to run a successful fastboot command. I would use the new Bootloader Unlock and then load you TWRP recovery. That should fix it for you

That will just reflash the bootlogo and clear up the fastboot flash failure.

There is a one click for the installation of TWRP or join me in that chatroom if you want to learn how to do it manually.

No problem at all. If you are interested in unlocking the bootloader and installing a custom recovery just hit me up.

To stay in 4.1.2 but boot up normally, just reflash 4.1.2. I did the same thing and reflashing 4.1.2 fixed the problem. You can't flash down, like to 4.0.4, but you can reflash 4.1.2 easily. once done there is a new exploit to root 4.1.2 and/or unlock the bootloader. And it's a one click deal. You don't have to type any adb at all. It's all in the op of DroidRzr.com
