I execute run.bat and all I get is daemon not running, starting it now on port 5037*
*daemon started successfully* nothing else happens.
I have changed USB ports and tried another cable. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have drivers updated on your PC? USB debugging enabled? Phone set to mtp mode?
