Thanks for sharing this, I just flashed it so I have something nice to use until CM is a bit more stable. :)

I made a full fxz of my dst rom from here:

You can flash the full fxz with rsdlite or the individual partitions with fastboot.
It includes the stock moto logo (no nag screen), latest twrp recovery (2.5.0.0), and the dst system. everything else is stock.

thanks to Aixelsyd for making the ext4 system.img
thanks to hashcode for making the twrp recovery
thanks to moto for getting dickslapped

FAQ:
what is fxz? Fastboot Xml Zip - fxz is a full restore file to return your device to its original condition
what is rsdlite? rsdlite is a flash utility for motorola devices
what is fastboot? fastboot is a command line binary used to flash the individual partitions of a fxz
still have questions? please try to search for an answer before asking in this thread ;)

When you say that this fxz will return the device to its original condition does mean it will lock the bootloader again and no root? Or to the way i have it right now with 4.1.2 rooted, unlocked bootloader and safe strapped?

Your boot loader is permanently unlocked. The dst system is pre rooted.

Is there any advantage to this one as opposed to the one in the HD rom's section? I'm unlocked and rooted and flashed that one through cwm.

moto roms are typically system only. Now that boot loaders are unlockable, you'll probably start to see system and boot roms.
Fxz is a compete restore file that flashes every possible partition.

If I wanted to keep the nag screen don't I just remove this line from the .XML?

<step operation="flash" partition="logo" filename="logo.bin" MD5="cd111cc7b675e62a7d85a50632fb88e8" />

you can remove the line completely or replace the logo.bin with the one from the stock fxz and change its md5 value back to the original. the one i use is pulled from an xt885 fxz.

that is strange. at least one other person has flashed this without any problem. i don't have a razr hd, so unfortunately i can't help troubleshoot. i did test the one i made for the razr m using the same process and it worked flawlessly.

btw, were you using rsdlite or fastboot?
if you haven't yet, try flashing just system.img with fastboot:
