I had the paid version of foxfi+PDAnet on my droid 2. Now have the Maxx HD, and thought rooting would solve the hotspot problem, but I am having trouble getting it to work. Trying wireless tether root now and still can't get a wi'fi signal. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks again

Wifi on RMHD works, right?
Do you get a tether connection between devices, just no data?

The entitlement hack should fix ya right up. I will be in the chat room for a bit if you wanna come in and I will show ya how to do it. Note: JB update blocked FoxFi. Also with WifiTether for root users you need to change a few settings for it to work.

I did not know that thank you. I just use the native hotspot so I did not know that foxfi update to be compatible with JB.
