Mainly a front page poll, but I'm curious myself. Who's unlocked? Who's unlocked? And if you're not going to why? Let us know!

At this point I've gotten very used to using safestrap, but it seems like the dream /goal has for us to have an unlocked bootloader, which we now have thanks to another mad scientist, genius developer. I have unlocked my bootloader, and now i realize i dont know anything....again!
I am tentatively excited to learn more about the inner workings of my device, and to begin utilizing both custom ROMs, and custom kernals.

We've delt with locked bootloaders for so long... What's an unlocked bootloader going to get me? Are there kernals out yet? No one's ever dev'd em up. I'm missing the point i suppose.

Yea I've been on locked bootloaders and a Moto fanboy since the Droid 2. I've only heard how the unlocked bootloader is the HOLY GRAIL of dev/modding. I cant wait to see what next!

No one's ever developed kernels because it's always been a moot point. Custom kernels for locked phones are as useless as tits on a bull. But now that it's unlocked, kernel development has some purpose.

I got a DroidRzr Twitter text about the exploit and I completely stopped what I was doing and made the leap. However, TWRP is giving me issues and I had to SBF to reinstall stock ROM because I have no option to mount system. Haven't noticed anyone else having this issue with TWRP 2.5.0.0 but me.

Unlocked within a few minutes of reading about on here.  Now, patiently waiting for a ROM that will work perfectly with this unlocked device.

All the roms here should work fine. Even one for the Dev edition phone

They should, but they do not.  Very few of the stock based ROMs will flash, and the ones that do, have issues.  I'm not the only one having these issues.  I was running Flying Jelly and I had an external storage error.  The ones developed for the dev edition seem to have no problems flashing, but we all know that most CM builds are buggy for other reasons.

Have you tied Inflected.  Been running it on my Maxx HD for a week now and absolutely no problem.  No problem flashing it with TWRP.  Everything works...everything.

I would try it, if I had a HD.  I have a M, and the options are pretty slim right now.

I had to RSD back to stock on my day old brand spanking new Razr Maxx HD,after unlocking bootloader and installing TWRP 2.5.0. Forgot to mount system when flashing a ROM (got all excited and didn't pay attention) and it caused problems. TWRP started flickering, then eventually would not boot into recovery and just got stuck at the unlocked bootloader message screen. Good thing I have learned so much from the Awesome Dev's and members on this site to know how to Fastboot that $600 handputer! No problems since then. :)
