Hey hows it going? well Im due for an Upgrade. What Phone would u take for an upgrade

Or should  I just use what I have now and wait for something better to come out in the future?

Money isnt an object at the moment as upgrade will help discount.

Phone I have now is the droid bionic Thanks

I'm interested in seeing what the Motorola X will be like & what users have to say about it.

Yes I definitely suggested Samsung. The S3 is the best phone I've had to date.

I've always had a Moto... BUT the S4 sure has a lot going for it. It may well be my next phone.

I'd personally go with the HTC One, but wait for the Motorola X phone just to see what the other options are.

Due for an upgrade?  That is the greatest marketing scam ever.  I will be "due for an upgrade" when my current Motorola Droid Razr Maxx no longer works or no longer does what I need it to do.  I will pay cash for a new phone to keep my Verizon unlimited data if it's still available.

why is it a Scam? My contract is up, so if I purchase a new phone and get a 2yr contract I will save money on the phone. If not I have to pay full price for a phone.

and whats this about verizon unlimited data u talk about

If you are already on a limited data plan then its not to bad. If your still on the unlimited plans and upgrade you will lose it. That's one of the biggest drawbacks. Plus you have to pay the 30.00 upgrade fee.

Bottom line is that there are good phones out there but it's really what you want.

If you want something good now. The Razr HD would be an awesome upgrade from your Bionic.

I have the DNA which I love but I am unlocked and the newest update still does not have root.

The S4 coming soon will be a great phone if you like Samsung build quality and all their gimmicky "S" stuff

Or you can hold out for the X phone which I'm sure will be killer but is at least 6 months away.

This is all for Verizon of course.

Not really a scam.  I probably should have said marketing scheme.  They get you to upgrade and buy a new phone you don't need by telling you that you are now eligible for an upgrade.   It's just a way to get people to buy phones they don't need sooner than they need them.

Want me to go buy a phone for you that way you have no say in the choice at all?

You can't really ask people what device you should get. Do your research, check out all your possible options and then make an informed decision yourself. No one can tell you what device is right for you.

unlimited data.... some Verizon customers like myself have unlimited data. We don't have a cap on our data. We pay a flat rate for the data service but can use as much data as we want. HOWEVER... anyone that has this loses their unlimited data if they upgrade their phone and get a new data contract. Many that have unlimited data have opted to pay FULL retail price and forgo the upgrade discount to keep their unlimited data. If you don't already have unlimited data... you can't get it. Verizon no longer offers it.
