And when I try to flash in rom manager it says I need to be rooted. Should I restore root in Voodoo?

Yeah. I did that but don't I need to protect root? If I do that won't it erase root?

Just make sure you protect root, do not temp-unroot and follow instructions. After install i was able to go back to voodo and restore root.

The torrent file in the dropbox link does not appear to be correct. I was able to download but it is only 19 KB in size which does not seem correct. Any one else having any luck with this?

There is 3 files in there. You probably were looking at the crc file or readme.

You can still have root if you protect, it just makes a backup. What you dont want is temp-unroot

You have to open the torrent file with you "favorite" torrent downloading program to start the download of the file(s).

it makes me nervous with all these people flashing this to their phones when they don't know what a torrent file is........ I mean if someone said to me " i downloaded this 18 KB file, do I move it to my phone?", they shouldn't be rooting and flashing anything.

This did work- thank you. The torrent d/l in 10 min or so but I am on 20 mb comcast.

Safe to assume I could RSD back to stock whenever?

I'm curious myself. I've been holding off on updating to the leak until this was confirmed.

Gratz Vicious, I feel a little better now that if I have to RSD for some reason I have a possible method to get back to ICS. And hey maybe the devs can use this to side load custom ROMS based on this build! Overall a good find.

Definitely a question to ask BEFORE applying any leaked update ... but yes, I have heard that you can fastboot back to stock.
