thats an interesting issue
what app are you trying.. and what rom build or what ever are you on my friend
In my Ferocious convictions, and in-dominant belief in my own actions, it would be a great advantage to anyone's interest who lay with mine..... Vanten Kiest

Corrupted at source. Your computer may not be able to do anything, or read it, but it should store and transfer the app without any problem to your phone.

That sounds like something that i ran into when trying to download an APK that came form a particular site. Not sure if you download both from the same place or not though

try restarting your phone or battery pull if not on a rzr. also make sure you have unknown sources checked.

He's going to have to work hard to really pull his Maxx battery! :P

But, yes restarting, double checking, and all that never hurts even if you have done it before.. several times haha!

I've never ran into this problem before though...

You might try what UnknownIntention said, and see if you can find another download source.

I ended up trying multiple downloaded apps, none worked.
Factory Reset and everything worked fine.
Weird problem though. Still wanna know what caused it.
But thanks for all your Suggestions.

Have you tried adb install? Have you tried just putting the apk in /system/app?
