Has anybody actually purchased any apps via the Play Store since they got JB OTA?  I've been trying to purchase ChompSMS since it is on sale.  The purchase initially seemed to work.  In Chomp the ads are gone but I keep getting a recurring notification that the purchase failed (in the notification bar).  I emailed the developer and tried his suggestions to no avail.

It really looks like a Play Store issue so I contacted Google.  I've tried their suggestions multiple times but the same thing happens every time.  I get a DF-CPA-07 error in Play Store and it says 'failed to retrieve information from server'.  Then it states I already own the product yet I keep getting the failed purchase notification.

Google's suggestion was basically wipe out my information (card info, address, contact info) in Google Wallet via a browser on a PC and then reenter the information and try again.  I've done that with three different credit cards so far.  Every one has failed.  In Google Wallet it shows all 7 attempts as "online purchase canceled".  There is no reason stated.  I don't think Google knows what the hell is going on!

EDIT:

I can see the transactions on my credit cards but not on the debit card.  They all show as pending.

Apps, no. Music, yes. No problems doing so. I would think I would be able to purchase an app, if I so desired
