I had unlocked my bootloader on 4.1.1, then I installed TWRP Recovery. I then installed DST (4.1.2) and used that for a while, but had some issues with A2DP streaming and such.
For me, 4.1.1 worked out well - so I used fastboot to flash over the files to be back on stock 4.1.1.
How can I disable the OTA update message?
Thanks!
Use a root file explorer (Root Explorer or the like).
Navigate to /system/etc/security
Rename otacerts.zip to otacerts.zip.bak
Navigate to /system/app
Rename BlurUpdater_VZW.apk to BlurUpdater_VZW.apk.bak (Or just delete the apk)
If the update already downloaded, navigate to /cache and delete the zip file. Then click the "install" button on the OTA popup. The update will fail and the message will go away.
