first off im not a n00b. im just tired. ok so i was trying to take safe strap off my phone to install bootstrap...however...i accidentally deleted the application itself without uninstalling the recovery first. i then tried to re-install it with matts utility. when it re-installed i installed then uninstalled the recovery, but i am still booting up with safestrap...is there a way to get rid of it fully without having to rsd (not that its hard or anything) ?

You had to do this or it will bootloop. So if can get into recovery, restore and try this before installing safestrap.
How to remove bootstrap clockworkmod:
1.Uninstall the bootstrap application.
2.Get Root Explorer from the market.
3.Using Root explorer, go into system/bin
4.Tap on r/w in the top right corner.
5.Delete the file called "hijack" & logwrapper
6.Rename the logwrapper.bin to just logwrapper(Without the .bin on the end)
7.Reboot and it now should be gone!
