outgoing call LONG delay when previous call didnt successfully connected

Best Answer kang , 03 May 2013 - 03:13 AM

You can wipe everything by doing a factory data reset...... the option for that should be found in recovery....or from home screen hit menu/system settings/privacy/factory data reset....
This should reset the phone back to all factory settings and you will need to re set up your phone, apps, etc

Thanks, fixed by resetting to factory settings. Go to the full post

I am using a razr /XT910, 4.1.2 OTA stock ROM.

Not sure from when I started to have this problem - outgoing calls will have a very LONG delay when previous call didnt successfully connected, it can be as long as ~30seconds. And the reasons of the previous call didnt get connected can be many, such as the other side is busy or I disconnected the call before it made through, etc.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Can anyone help me? This is very annoying. And I really know little about root, hack nor flash a new ROM, I hope this is an easy problem to fix.

I have seen that a couple times..... in my experience, that is typically a carrier issue.....but you can try to reboot your phone into recovery and clear cache and see if it continues

You should be able to access stock recovery by powering off your phone.... then hold volume up+volume down+power.... when it comes on you should be given a list of choices.... use volume down to highlight recovery and use volume up to select it.... you should then select "clear cache" and when its completed (should just take a couple of seconds) then you can reboot normally ..... this is assuming you are not using a custom recovery .... :)

I did what you said, Yes I see a menu, selected recovery, then I see MOTO logo as usual, then open belly android. But IT stocked there, I waited for a while, , had to reboot by press power and volume down.

Anything wrong?

Barring a carrier issue or outage....Possibly an app you have installed is not playing nice.....

Should not be the carrier, otherwise many people around me Will be crying too, right?

If it was caused by and app I installed, how can I find out? If cannot find it, is there a easy way to wipe everything? I don't mind to re _setup my phone.
