Can't be done. Phone needs to be in fastboot mode which only works to do stuff pushed from a PC.

The only way that I know how to do this, and I tweeted the Dev a few weeks ago, would be to install this apk,
. This was the initial recovery that I used on my HTC EVO, a couple of years ago. But I've looked at this ROM Manager app and it is so outdated, though it supports Recovery on the Motorola Photon which I was surprised by.... Just to note this installs CWM Recovery, on the devices the app presently supports, I don't think we are up there.
Edit, might want to get a computer Tucstwo has a great Recovery Flasher...
