This is not my work but I just had to share this with you all.


Easy Root -Android 2.3.6 & ICS - CASUAL [One-Click][Windows][Linux][Mac][Beta]
Warning
The Motofail Exploit is proven to work.

This is a beta test of CASUAL. CASUAL is an easy way to deploy ADB scripts on Linux, Windows and Mac in a single package.

Downloads and Instructions
You will need:
  • CASUAL Motofail Package: download at the original post
  • The latest version of Java:

Operating CASUAL Motofail/RootICSRAZR
  • Run with right-click-open or from a prompt: java -jar path\to\Motofail-CASUAL-PublicBeta1.jar
  • Put your device into Development/Debug mode
  • Select "Root with RootICSRAZR" for ICS or select "root with Motofail" for Gingerbread.
  • Click the "do it!" button
This will install the su binary, busybox and the SuperUser.apk

Also Included
This package also includes an option that allows you to type any single word (no spaces) from your computer onto your Android device. If you are already rooted, please test this.

If this works it'll save a lot of people a whole lot of aggravation. I spend 8 hours today in chat helping 3 people flash ICS from scratch and 2 out of 3 were successful in retaining root. Lots of work. Much appreciated sir.

Yea..doesn't work on Verizon Droid RAZR's ICS leak.

I don't honestly see how people didn't keep root. I kept it on the first try following the exact directions of the leaks OP

I lost root after the first flash but haven't lost root after the next 6-7 times I've flashed it. Only thing I've done differently from the first flash is add the mount_ext.sh edits.
