Well I have been waiting over a week now for a replacement HD MAXX. My speaker has blown and I'm unlocked and rooted so a Moto warranty is out of the question. Assurion has offered to give me an SIII in blue instead. So my question is.... Should I just wait to get another HD MAXX or should I jump on an SIII?  I have all of the the accesories for an HD and I do like the durability of it. Honest opinions here please. Thanks in advance.

It depends on what is most important to you, really.  The Maxx HD kills (I mean KILLS) the S III in battery life, and is very solidly built.  The moto likely gets better reception than the S III as well.  The S III beats the HD in processor speed, and fluidity plus there is tons of development for it.  I own both and when I want to play with my phone I use the S III but I find when I travel and I feel I need the reliability and durability I go with the HD Maxx.

Keep in mind that the S 4 is launching so focus on dedvelopment will gradually shift from the S III to the S 4 along with accessory production.

Tried the HD for about a week. Sent it back and kept the S3. I have a post in off topic about it and stand by my decision 100%. The only reason the Maxx HD beats the S3 is because obviously the Maxx has a bigger battery. Put the S3 against the regular HD and its a different story.
