TWRP for the phone.  I'm used to CWM and that's what I use on the tablet, but it doesn't get along too well with this phone.

TWRP on every device I own. Razr HD, DNA, Nexus 10 and KIndle Fire HD 8.9

I use TWRP. I looked at CWM once and it's more like the stock recovery than anything else. Don't get me wrong it did work but there was too much scrolling through stuff to do what I wanted. TWRP is laid out much better. IMHO

I happen to like the push button function of TWRP, plus it is simple to use and backups go to external by default. CWM is old school, Volume + to go up, Volume - to go down, and power button to select., plus CWM stores I believe by default backups on the internal drive, which you manually have to change to external. The only feature that I found somewhat useful or maybe lazy, is that with the ROM Manager app, engaged with CWM you can set automatic backups. While that might sound interesting, think about how big your backups are, if you don't watch it, you may run out of space on your sd card or have other problems. Plus CWM doesn't allow naming your backup.... I'll stay with TWRP, push, name, reboot....

CWM. I kept having problems with TWRP on all the versions I tried. Wouldn't restore backups, wouldn't flash ROMs, it would freeze and reboot recovery every time I tried doing something. So I switched. Have had maybe 2 problems with CWM if that. I'll stick with this for now :-)

our devices are touchscreen so IMO it only makes sence to use a recovery that utilizes that.

I thought the newer CWM builds were all touchscreen? Got me second guessing myself now lol.

Eh, you whipper-snappers and you're TWRP. I'm using it out of necessity. IDK, I'm an OG...I prefer CWM...and on a larger screen CWM touch. But since I haven't the time to try to port CWM touch to this device and since there is no official as the bootloader has been locked for so long and Clockworkmod hasn't bothered with many Moto devices, there is none yet. Also, it appears that most stuff is designed now for TWRP. Idk, TWRP ain't my style. I'm reluctant to move on with the time, but like I said, out of necessity, I'll use it.
