Hi, I just recevied my new Razr and was looking to rot it. I used to have a Bionic the was rooted and running Eclipse rom.

Now I was told that I could use Rootkeeper so that I can unroot to receive ICS when it's released. Is that true?

If so, how should i got about using root keeper and what method of rooting is best?

thanks

Download matt's utility.

If will allow you to root, and to install voodoo OTA rootkeep

If you are wanting to receive the OTA's then just stay rooted, and freeze the bloatware...this why when its release you can unfreeze the apps and upgrade.

Thanks!

One question. How do I use rootkeeper? Do I run "protect root" and "backup root" prior to rooting?

then I can root and if I want to unroot for OTA, I just run "restore root"?

Is it that easy?

Thanks again!
