Can't Root/UnRoot

Best Answer DeLeet , 16 May 2013 - 05:41 AM

It worked, the data wipe got rid of my old superuser and then i was able to load the new one without a problem, thanks for the help

Also...if it still just closes...If you are familiar/comfortable with command line(s) you can enter the commands found in the utility manually.....
Just make sure you are charged and in AP Fastboot mode ;)

I had issues with my old ICS so i decided to go back to stock rom and do the OTA update to JB. Problem is i forgot to remove my Superuser root. When i go into the SU app it says outdated binary, installed version is 3.0.3.2, latest version is 3.1.1..........Downloads new binary fine, but gaining root access is a fail.

How do i either remove my current superuser and start from scratch, or how can i repair my current issue with it?

I attempted to delete the superuser manually, but it won't let me.

I attempted to use the Droid Razr Utility, but after pressing enter after opening the batch file, the utility closes and nothing happens.

Could use some help please and thanks!

Go back to the Utility... I think you have not extracted the files from the zip. You are trying to run the bat file from inside a compressed zip.

I extracted the zip and pressed enter...this popup comes up quickly and it closes, i managed to catch it with a screenshot.

I made sure to install the Droid Razr Drivers as well...

With the utility..... Did you fully extract to desktop and run batch from there ?

Also...if it still just closes...If you are familiar/comfortable with command line(s) you can enter the commands found in the utility manually.....
Just make sure you are charged and in AP Fastboot mode ;)
