If your phone is ICS you can use the 1.82 utility ...

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

... That will give you a fresh clean ICS 4.0.4

If you have been updated to JB then you can use this one ...

That one will get you a fresh clean JB 4.1.2

Which one worked for you? :)

Try rebooting into recovery, either stock or safestrap(if you installed safestrap)

Wipe/clear cache and/or dalvik cache then reboot......

As far as "unlocking" what exactly are you looking to do?

The boot loader cannot be unlocked on the RAZR (xt912)

What hillbilly said!! We unfortunately cannot unlock our XT912. Root is the best we get, which is damn good.

You have to put a local GSM sim in the phone and it will work

It is a "global" device.... a local GSM sim card should work for you :)

Well i am going to try it anyways it doesn't hurt to try : livingingkaos

I do know that radio attenna doesn't show active even if does or doesn't have a chip. That is strange i would expected to be connected to Virizon as pick up signal. Has anyone seen that before because i was thinking something wrong with phone internal.

If your looking to make the GSM work here in the US, I dont think thats gonna happen. If you do so in a foreign country then yes GSM works.
