I had a question, that I can't seem to find a straight forward answer for on the internet. What other OS's can you flash to an android phone, specifically to the Droid Razr M? Now that I've done my fair share of hacking to my android (Unlocked bootloader, rooted rom), what else can I do? Is it possible to flash IOS to my phone? What about this Ubuntu Mobile I keep hearing about? What are the options?

What do you think the chances of it getting ported are?

What are you talking about?  Research before you post if you are going to be so absolute about it.

Not on the M yet, but it will be I am sure.  I am quite happily running it on my GNex.

So if it's non-existent, I must be taking some pretty good shrooms.

Tizen, another Linux based OS, is sure to be ported to the M sometime as well, I would think.

iOS would be tricky in any case, as it is coded for a specific family of mobile SoC's with specific GPUs.  Even if you COULD somehow "hackintosh" a bootloader to boot it, it wouldn't support the RAZR M's Adreno GPU as it's coded for PowerVR.

Oh are you porting it? What you have on the gnex(one of the most popular development phones) and the m are miles apart. I actually follow all of this pretty closely. Quoting Wikipedia which you could have edited yourself never makes your point look strong.

You do realize that Canonical who is responsible for the engineering of Ubuntu actually built it for the gnex. I haven't looked at it for a while but I believe it is GSM only.

That's not Wikipedia, it's ubuntu's own wiki. And the question in the op said android phones, not razr m.

Edit: I guess it did say specifically the razr m, but in that case the wording of the question was rather stupid.

Doesn't look like it's been touched in a while.
