The other day I had 4G then it dropped, and Im stuck on 3G. I have tried new Roms and a different kernel. I also got a new sim card, and my phone is unlocked. Any suggestions?

Type in the following into your phone dialer:
*#*#4636#*#*

Then click 'phone information'. Scroll down to where you see network modes and the turn off radio button. What is that network mode set to?

Also Idk if this could help but it does me sometimes. Power off the phone and take the SIM card out. Put the tray back in the phone and turn it back on without the SIM card in it. You're not gonna get any service. Once booted let it sit for a minute or two, then turn off, put SIM back in, and reboot as if you would normally. That helps me sometimes if I have problems like this, if you haven't tried that specific method it is worth the try.

maybe your radio is bad. I had that problem before. Matt helped me out and got my 4G back.

Dialing the number worked! It was set to CDMA/GSM. No idea how it got set. Bit switched it to CDMA/LTE, shut it off then turned it back on. Now 4G is back. Thank you!!!
