I'm having trouble finding info on this.....I see a lot of governor options you can adjust to in programs like Setcpu and ROM toolbox etc. I see things like interactive, msm dcvs...noop, cfq.....frankly I have no idea what the hell any of this means or how it affects performance. I'd be very grateful if someone could briefly explain this. What governors do most people use? I am looking for good performance without murdering my battery life. I have a maxx so I'm not afraid of a slightly more aggressive "tune"....I just don't know where to start. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!!
Edit: looked up more info on I/O handling... I think I get it but still shady on governors.

I would say the best governors stock on the HD are either interactive or msm-dcvs. Best I/O stock I would say either deadline or noop.

I use MSM-DCVS, with NOOP.

I started using msm with noop as well. Been pretty good responsiveness with great battery.
Also, thanks for the links! That's great info.
