Is there anyone willing to help me make a boot logo if I supply the logo? I do not have either program on my computer...

Awesome John :) but just going to say, I do have a Boot logo request thread linked at the bottom of the how to :) I haven't got to do all the new request but school is done now so I can :)

Zoobert, just to give you a heads up. Gimp cannot open .bin files. Also, when you change the colors like you suggest, my simple text image comes out orange instead of light blue. Also, when saving an image, there is no option in the "all files" to select "raw image data."

Zoobert, just to give you a heads up. Gimp cannot open .bin files. Also, when you change the colors like you suggest, my simple text image comes out orange instead of light blue. Also, when saving an image, there is no option in the "all files" to select "raw image data."

I'll grab a copy of gimp tonight and will experiment when I get it working I'll post how I did it. Was your text originally light blue? Changing those settings my look different from your original image but will display properly on your phone. The exporting dunno yet

Then just upload the logo.bin file and let the user put it in the right place in the utility and use the utility to put it on their device. This way you could have all of your boot logos go on any of the devices listed here. Users could post their own boot logos in this super boot logo thread and we would have tons of boot logos for everyone! Just a thought on this lazy Sunday evening :p

Basically is that not kinda what we have now?..... kinda, sorta..... users only need to DL the flashable zip or the fastboot method once and just drag and drop their logo.bin into it then... bing bam boom.. new logo.....

The only thing we don't have is a "spot" set aside for the .bin files that have been made....:)

... telekinectically tapping, tenaciously traversing the terrain...

I guess that's what I was thinking, just a place to post the bin files but in a general place. Anyway, it was just an idea :p

i think we should do it :) why not right? we all have a lot of boot logos it seems so we could make a nice list of them, and could just give the zip for the fastboot method and then i could upload the shell of the flashable zip and they can add the logo.bin to the zip :)

I'm in the process of getting all mine reorganized as well so they can be included .....

Also.. we should get MonkeyMouth in on this as well.... he has a a ton of them too.... with what we have (within our entire community) and what is yet to come.... this will be nothing short of epic :)

It can be the greatest collection of logos for multiple devices, period ....

Hey do I put my og RAZR in fast boot to flash this and can I use any image that is 540x540 or less and just save it as logo.bin after I resize it in Photoshop.
