So I am trying to completely restore my phone to stock and I am using this thread

Is this the process for using Matt's Utility for the XT907? Where does the Utility come in at? So far I am using just RSD Lite but I am not sure when to use the utility?

The utility and rsd lite do the same thing. Use one or the other. Also that link above is way old and for the 912 Razr. Don't use that. You will mess your phone up. Use the Utility. Put your phone in fastboot mode. Start the Utility. Hit option 1

Using the utility is pretty easy..... just download..... extract to desktop..... plug in your phone by USB ..... put phone in AP Fastboot mode...... run the .bat file (windows) or the .sh file (Linux or Mac ).... ..... the command (terminal) should open and just choose which option you want to run....which is going to be option 1 to restore your phone .....

Just make sure you have a full charge prior to running the utility...... it will suck very much bad ..... to have a low battery flash failure on top of the other issues youve had......

lol yeah I am good to go now. 100% stock no root. I am gonna keep it that way... I have a bad habit of tinkering with things. BTW is there a ebook or app that goes into more detail with ADB shell commands?
