OK so what's the deal with these things? A lot of people post them and I know they give somewhat of an idea of how well your phone is performing. But it seems the longer I have a ROM on my phone the lower the scores get. What are the factors that cause the lower scores? What's the deal with every time I run a benchmark there's a big variation of what I get for a score? What should I believe and what shouldn't I?

Now look at these to scores one taken right after the other the lower scoring one being 1st. Why such a big difference in the scores? There's a difference of 485 points (or what ever they are called). I just don't understand!

This may have been put out there already so if so sorry I brought it up again.

The difference is in your CPU so a process may have stopped in between the two.

And all they are is a reference. They are not something to rely on. Just a guide. :ph34r
