I want to take this time to tell everyone I'm sorry for everything that happened with this new leak. I could have swore that in my original OP that I only said fastboot "should" be possible.

I guess I was wrong. So let me just personally say that I am sorry if I caused damage to your phone. As some of you from the chat room know, I am leaving these forums to make sure this doesn't happen again. I will also be selling my RAZR (not bricked) and will have no reason to even be on these forums anymore. To those I talked to on a regular basis, I hope we can stay in touch. To everyone that sent me emails about how much you hate me and hope bad things happen to me, again I am sorry.

If I had the money to buy you guys a new phone I would.

Anyway, I hope everything gets fixed for you guys. I personally want to apologize to 2 main people:

Arcanexvi and DirtyDroidX. I'm sorry and didn't intend for any of this to happen.

This is nowhere near necessary brother. People have no reason sending you hate e-mails or anything of the like. This is ridiculous, Don`t leave over this crap man. I for one know for a fact that none of you were sitting beside me messing with my phone. It`s all on me. I really wish you would`nt feel this way

I accept your apology, although I don't blame you or any one individual for what happened. I did not brick my phone, however I am one of those stuck on .84 for now. I normally do not flash these leaks until I see enough positive feedback and a safe way back to stock. So yes, I was misled by what you wrote about fastboot and what was later posted by Arcanexvi, but again I don't blame him or you for this and because this is such a great build I am happy to be stuck on it for now. I probably would feel a little different if I was one of the few that are stuck there with a paperweight, so I do sympathize with those who have hopefully only soft bricked their phones for now. You should be upset but you have to blame yourselves first. Being a crackflasher comes with its risks and its rewards. If you have bricked multiple devices and are still pissed at others for it then you should stop messing with your phone. If this is your first time with a $600 retail paperweight then you will live and learn. Just my 2 cents.

Wow. I hope all of you that blamed him and gave him hate are happy now. He is a great themer/dev and has always been around helping people who don't know what they are doing. I just hope you all realize that giving him hate and sending him hate mail will not fix your phone. Instead, we should all be trying to work together to fix the problem currently at hand.

I updated as well and have not complained not 1 time about it. Life is all about chances you take a chance sometimes you win sometimes you lose. I am confident that they will find a work around if not then I will just have to hustle harder to get another phone.

Specialist Hicks, you have no one to thank but the mods who pulled your thread in the first 15 minutes in order to put up their super safe, fully tested, RSD/Fastbootable version in its place and take full responsibility for it (I think, still waiting). I for one, will miss you. You ARE an invaluable asset to this community and from what I know, a person who selflessly helps other. I commend you for taking responsibility for the 3 (maybe) peoples phones that you directly caused problems with (insert crybaby, it's not my fault disclaimer here) but I do hope you think this through because this is NOT your fault and to anyone who doesn't realize this, you're blind and retarded. I hope you think this through Hicks because I will miss you man, and I know many people here and on chat will too. I hope management realize what an invaluable asset they are losing because they refuse to take responsibility for this cluster fuck. I guess this is the obvious repercussions of a society groomed from "Participation Trophies". From a fellow serviceman to another (myself US Navy retired Lieutenant , you will be missed. Good luck in your future endeavors and stay away from the GNEX.

So let me get this straight: a few people bricked their phones using the latest ICS leak and now they want to go after devs because they don't want to blame themselves for f'ing their phones up? SpcHicks, although we haven't formally met but I'm sure you've answered my questions in the past and you are a valuable member here. Don't leave cause of a few dumbasses that can't comprehend basic English reading and instructions. Those individuals don't deserve the phones they bricked and they definitely don't have the right to send hate mail and create threads blaming the devs for them breaking their own phones. But they clearly didn't read the thread. I saw a lot of "I flash leak but no like it so I rsd and now phone no work" when tons of people reported it not recoverable. Heck topics were made about it and people still wanted to try.

I am running. 84 and I love it. I am sure a solution will be found. Am I tempted to try and get to. 85??? Very much so!! Do j want to try flashing some themes made for. 75? Omg yes!! Did I flash DTs script with it in the back of my head "ooooo I'm one of the first people to do this hope it works" ohhhhh heeeeeeeeck yessss!!!! Will I be flashing anytime soon?

In my opinion if hicks didn't say a word about it. Someone else would have and there would still be people with bricked phones and hate mail going to someone else. Just like what was said before. If you don't want to brick your phone don't play with it.
