Wow, thanks for the quick, response. I'm not able to find it in Play store! Found it!

Assistant kicks rear end, Iris after last update has turned into a advertising easyperson. Nice alpha tested them beta tested then today she starts spamming my notification bar. I'm sticking with assistant haven't had any problems over the last few days.

After testing out Assistant, I am a little disappointed. It is basically the same as Siri. I was hoping it would be better than Siri. The Google Voice Commands still works best for me.

Samsung S Voice was leaked. I installed on my RAZR, put as a system app and it seems to work until it force closed every time it tries to answer. Any suggestions on how to fix? The link is

I was able to install it like any app and no issues till today. Now ppl are getting network error when trying to use S voice. Its happening on Gnex phones but haven't heard back if its happening on the razr. Shame cause I liked S voice, lol.

I don't know if the same thing applies here but, when I installed Siri on my iPhone and iPod touch 4th gen, I had to connect to a dedicated proxy server that had the signed iPhone 4s keys from apple, in order for it to work, As I said though, I haven't the slightest idea how Samsung does theirs, it may, or may not work the same. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I just thought I'd throw what I knew about porting Siri from the 4s to the 4,& 4th genniPod touch.

I tries a couple of the voice apps but just went back to using the stock voice commands/search. I do saying servant and the hearing Yea, master with Eva but I don't miss seeing that it used 15% of my battery just sitting idle(even with voice start off or what ever it's called).

I've been using Vlingo since before Google included voice input in android. (Paid ten bucks.) I use it daily, hands free, now.

Back when Voice Actions first appeared I gave it a test:

Me; What is the closest star?
VA: the sun
Me: What is the closest star to the sun?
VA: Proximal Centauri is approximately 4.5 light....
Me: Smart rear end!
VA: do you want to see me naked?
Me; lol, what?
VA: no

Anyway you can get "her" clothes off. /wink

Because of the idiotic questions like "Is it raining out? " posed to Siri in ads I've been wanting to ask a Siri user to ask it, "How do I wipe my rear end? "

VA: are you sure you need to?

I've been happy with using Iris. Tried S Voice but that didn't work. Iris sometimes has some weird answers though. LOL.

Moved on to the LG G2 on VZW and lovin it!

I didn't seed this one mentioned on this thread so I thought I would add. Jeanie. I have tried many and she works the best imo.

I tried Iris. The high pitched digital scream every time I clicked on it drove me away very very quickly.

It had a rough start, but so far the best one i have found is called Evi. My big beef with most of these programs is i wish they would have some better voices. Kinda like the newest google maps update, a little more fluid, or maybe with an accent. Current ones sound like a mentally disabled robot

Speaktoit is imo the best when it comes to this topic. If you dont like the robot style voice u can change it to a more pleasant female voice. Also u can change the appearance. I used it for a while but the google voice recognition held it back. Im going to install and retry now that we have the ics voice should be alot better.

I've tried them all.. and so far they are nice, but true OS integration is what I'm waiting for. I don't see myself using apps like this much.. until Google Now becomes available for us.
