Hi, I used a guide from xda and followed these instructions 

-Re-name the file to update.zip
-Moved it to the root of the SD card
-Booted in to TWRP
-Factory Wipe/Restore
-Wiped Cache
-Wiped Dalvik Cache
-Wiped System
-Installed the "update.zip"
-Wiped cache/dalvik again
-Rebooted

I think the update failed and with the system wipe I no longer have an os, just an assumption though. I still have twrp on boot. I now am stuck at the boot logo screen. I need help to bring her back alive, it belongs to my 7 yr old son and I cant tell him Daddy cant fix it. Please someone help, thanks in advance.
PS I have rooted a few phones but beside that I am total noob.

which version of twrp are you using?  And had you created a backup in twrp prior to this at some point?

I believe twrp 2.4.4 and unfortunately no backup. I have tried to put the update.zip on the root of the sd card and then flashing from twrp but it fails
